“My family and I recently stayed at the Carlinvilla Motel while we were in town attending a 25th wedding anniversary celebration, and it was exactly what we needed. The motel is definitely dated, but that's not a criticism, it's part of its charm. The rooms and property were very clean. You can tell that the owners and staff take pride in keeping the place comfortable and welcoming for their guests. What really made our stay memorable was the people. Everyone we encountered was incredibly friendly and genuinely welcoming. From the moment we arrived, we felt more like guests than customers. The best way I can describe the Carlinvilla Motel is that it feels like staying overnight at your grandparents' house. There's a warmth and familiarity to the place that instantly puts you at ease. It's comfortable, unpretentious, and has a sense of home that is hard to find in many hotels today. After spending time with family at the anniversary party, it was nice to come back to a place that felt just as cozy and inviting. If you're looking for a clean and cozy place to stay with friendly people and a genuine small-town feel, I highly recommend the Carlinvilla Motel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return the next time we're in the area.”
“Off the beaten path, but worth the 15 miles from the expressway. Older motel, but well maintained. Owner was friendly, room was clean, and bed & pillows were comfortable. Our room was in the back and parking lot was very well lit! Bonus was the excellent Mexican restaurant across the street. We were happy we chose this hotel versus the motels in Litchfield that had less than stellar reviews.”
